Workspace is thrilled to annouce that last night Estates Gazette crowned us as 'Offices Company of the Year' and we were praised by the judges for adopting a “pioneering strategy of location, location, technology”.
The awards took place at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in front of over 1,000 people and were presented by comedian, Sean Lock and sports presenter, Gabby Logan.
Workspace was up against some tough competition, including Derwent London, Great Portland Estates, Land Securities, The Office Group and The Crown Estate, but Workspace was selected as the winner by the judging panel.
Jamie Hopkins, CEO, Workspace, said: "We are delighted to have won this award, which demonstrates the increasing recognition in the industry of Workspace's position as home to New and Growing Companies across London.
"I am hugely proud of the Workspace team; our strong performance over the last year is thanks to their hard work and commitment."
The awards evening was also a watershed moment for WiredScore, who came out on top in the 'Rising Star' category. WiredScore collect and rank information about the internet connectivity and technical infrastructure of commercial buildings, working to develop standards of connectivity for New and Growing Companies across London and the rest of the UK.
Indeed, Workspace's very own Metal Box Factory recently became one of only seven commercial buildings in the UK to be awarded the WiredScore Platinum certification, giving Metal Box Factory tenants the ultimate assurance that they have access to world-leading, secure and reliabile connectivity, future-proofing their business needs.
