Due to great feedback last time, SEO Social is back at Club Workspace, bringing you another awesome event.

THE SEO SOCIAL

We are revolutionising the way SEO and Paid-Search professionals network here in the UK. Through a mix of conferences and workshops, we will be meeting with some of the most experienced SEO leaders in the industry, to explore the strategies, techniques and tactics they use to propel their client’s websites up to the top of search-engines and to ensure return on their client's investments. Each event will explore different themes and perspectives, helping to improve our collective knowledge of the industry through interesting topics and engaging debate.

The Experience Age Has Arrived - Digital Marketing In A New Era

Consumer behaviour is changing. Emerging and converging technologies, new platforms, and shifting economies are changing how we research, consume and spend. The way in which you think about markets, websites, purchase funnels and business needs to change, too, otherwise you risk being left behind. From driverless cars and 3D printing, to personal assistants and machine learning, attendance is a must for those who wish to arm themselves for the next revolution.

Jono has over a decade of blended experience in digital marketing, with expertise in SEO, analytics, brand strategy, campaign strategy, lead generation, eCRM automation, conversation rate optimisation and web development – from defining the ‘big picture’ and strategic direction, right down to getting his hands dirty in the nitty-gritty technical detail.

He’s worked with agencies, startups, household brands and FTSE 100 companies to define, support and deliver successful SEO, content, analytics and brand strategies at an international level.

Additionally, he’s a well-respected international speaker & presenter, trainer, and workshop leader on topics ranging from the future of digital marketing, to hardcore website performance optimisation.

Optimising for Tomorrow, Today

How do you decide what to do next when the world of digital is constantly changing? When it comes to assigning your time and budget, you’re faced with the challenge of a finite resource yet infinite choices. It’s frustrating to spend your time on the latest marketing trend for it to disappear overnight and be replaced by the next big thing. Instead, I propose that we focus on testing each new SEO craze against clear criteria to determine if it’s here for good or a passing fad, and then assign our time accordingly. It’s all about taking back control over our ever-changing ecosystem.

Hannah Thorpe is Head of SEO at White.net, an integrated digital marketing agency. She works with clients to produce multi-platform campaigns through every stage from ideation through to completion.

Hannah’s role covers everything from leading complex technical strategies, to creating innovative content campaigns and harnessing data to drive results

Shopping For Keywords: Topic Research for E-Coommerce Sites

For commercial websites, the race is on for brands to become publishers, and retailers to show-off their expert, or E-A-T, content credentials.

Keyword research is fundamental for most SEO campaigns, but for e-commerce sites it is the difference between seeing plenty of footfall or being stuck in a quiet backstreet.

Fortunately, we have more keyword and audience research tools than ever before. And in this talk, we’ll look at some of the best options to find content topics across the entire purchase cycle. With tips on finding how your audience talks about your product, and the problems they search for help with, this talk aims to expand your site’s reach, and fast

Charlie is part of the team at Screaming Frog, the agency famous for the SEO Spider and Log File Analyser and has worked just about every kind of job in SEO.

As a consultant and regular industry speaker, Charlie loves to share ideas on his specialties of content strategy, creative campaigns, technical SEO & keyword research. You’ll find him talking content, UX, SEO & food on Twitter, or cooking something up in the kitchen!
