Workspace, in conjunction with Knowledge Peers, are delighted to be hosting a business insight dinner at The Print Rooms entitled “The Reality of Virtual Business”
Directors and founders from customers across Workspace’s portfolio are invited to register their interest in attending this complimentary event.
£Billions are being spent on Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR and AR) by some of the biggest tech companies in the World (Think Facebook, Samsung, Sony, Microsoft). This is one of the quickest moving areas of technology.
It is a technology that is increasingly “disruptive”. IKEA, for example, are now investing heavily in creating a virtual super store that also allows you to design your kitchen while shopping in that virtual environment – combining digital data from your own house. The implications, as the technology improves at a rapid rate, are very far reaching.
This event presents an amazing opportunity for Workspace Customers to understand more about the potential for VR and AR – both the underlying technology and its application.
During the evening we will hear from:
Tom Chapman and Jarnail Chudge from the Microsoft team who led Cities Unlocked. Cities Unlocked draws on the expertise of Future Cities Catapult, Guide Dogs and Microsoft. They’ve come to understand the mobility challenges faced by people with sight loss in our cities. In response they’ve developed a new soundscape technology and highlighted further opportunities for innovation that could unlock cities for everyone.

What to expect?
The insight events combine an interesting mix of ‘live’ case studies of senior directors from New and Growing Companies who have encountered a relevant challenge, together with Q&A with industry experts.
Our insight events focus on what you can learn and how it might impact you or your business. We don’t spend that much time talking at attendees and we build in plenty of opportunities for attendees to question case study subjects.
We leave ample time for attendees to network with the other senior leaders and of course enjoy delicious food and drinks.
Please contact Knowledge Peers on WBI@knowledgepeers.com if you have any questions about this business insight event or, if you'd like to come, please register your interest.
