Despite the pandemic, Venture Capital investment has remained strong – and the UK remains a great place for Angel investors, with attractive Tax incentives and a strong start-up economy. There remains a lot of cash seeking a positive return, something unlikely to change when the outlook for interest rates remain so low.
The nature of the early stage investment market has shifted, however. Some market segments are a difficult “pitch” at this time, whereas others are “hot” – and that includes businesses that might gain from the constant steer towards digital and virtual solutions.
Attendees will get insight and guidance on the following:
- Understanding of the wider investment market
- What investors in early stage companies are currently looking for
- How to build an investment ready business
- What makes for a successful investor pitch
- Creating a fundraising plan – agreeing some next steps.

Our expert panel will be led by the Informed Funding team, including Chris Dines and Gary Jesson.
