Workspace, in conjunction with Knowledge Peers, are delighted to be hosting a Business Insight breakfast event at Fleet Street entitled, "What is the value of your business"?
Directors, founders and other senior leaders from customers across Workspace’s portfolio are invited to register their interest in attending this complimentary event.
This next WBI breakfast event draws on highly positive feedback from a previous WBI dinner that looked at the challenge of selling your business. “Inherent value” was at the heart of the discussion.
What makes a business truly valuable?
We will draw on a successful business case study that will encourage you to think about your own business – just how are you going about creating value?
We are pleased to be joined by Fiona McMahon, Investment Manager at ECI Partners LLP, a growth-focused investor. ECI is the UK's leading growth-focused private equity firm and back businesses valued between £20m and £150m headquartered in the UK.
As our business case study we’re featuring Duane Jackson. Duane founded KashFlow Accounting Software, one of the first software-as-a-service businesses in the UK, in 2005. He grew it to 40 staff and 20,000 customers without taking any significant external funding and eventually exited in 2013, selling to IRIS Software Group for £20m.
Having been a care-leaver and ex-offender himself, he is passionate about promoting entrepreneurship to those from a similar background. He’s a Patron of The Prince’s Trust, the charity that helped him start in business.
This Business Insight breakfast event will be compered by Chris Dines, CEO of Informed Funding. Chris is a chartered accountant, prior to Informed Funding Chris qualified with PWC and spent 10 years with the firm specialising in the middle market. As CEO of AIM listed Ovum plc, Chris led the acquisition of Europe's largest technology research business by Datamonitor in 2006.
What to expect?
The insight events combine an interesting mix of ‘live’ case studies of senior directors from New and Growing Companies who have encountered a relevant challenge, together with Q&A with industry experts.
Our insight events focus on what you can learn and how it might impact you or your business. We don’t spend that much time talking at attendees and we build in plenty of opportunities for attendees to question case study subjects.
We leave ample time for attendees to network with the other senior leaders and of course enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Please contact Knowledge Peers on WBI@knowledgepeers.com if you have any questions about this Business Insight event or, if you'd like to bring a guest.
