Brought to you by our partners Informed Funding (iF) this webinar is designed for ambitious business leaders who wish to understand the current funding market and outlook for the second half of 2020. The session will cover VC activity, Future Fund and the market for Grant support through Innovate UK’s R&D loans and grants funding packages.
During the webinar, Informed Funding will explain the structures and parameters of Future Fund, including:
- Matched Funding requirements (and where from)
- Rules around Loan to Equity Conversion
- Implications for existing and future shareholders
- Effective cost
In recent years the UK has been a great place to start ambitious companies – a vibrant Angel and VC market supported by tax incentives and a growing culture of collaboration and flexible working.
Covid-19 has given that ecosystem a real jolt – or has it? Since the start of 2020. London based companies have raised $4bn of VC funds, more than Paris, Stockholm, Berlin and Tel Aviv combined. The recent launch of Future Fund has already seen £50m of Government funds co-invested with other investors.
