Workspace, in conjunction with Knowledge Peers, are delighted to be hosting a Business Insight Breakfast event: Design Thinking: Strategic Creativity at Work
Directors, founders and other senior leaders from customers across Workspace’s portfolio are invited to register their interest in attending this complimentary event.
“Good design is good business” is a phrase coined by Thomas John Watson Jr, chairman and CEO of IBM from 1952 – 1971 but more recently you may have heard about the importance of “Strategic Design Thinking” or “Building a Design Thinking Business Culture”.
Design Thinking draws upon imagination, intuition, logic and reasoning to explore ideal future possible states of what could be, ultimately creating the desired outcomes to your most important stakeholder, your customers.
Properly implemented, Design Thinking can be the single biggest competitive advantage for your business and should be central to your product design and business and marketing strategies.
This Workspace Business Insight Breakfast brings together leading authorities from the creative world of design for a morning of thought provoking discussion that has deep relevance to leaders of all types of businesses. Our panel will look at these key questions:
- What is Design Thinking and is Good Design really Good Business?
- How does Design Thinking drive product strategy and innovation across an organisation?
- Why is Powerful Storytelling a critical component of Design Thinking, and a key driver of business success?
- What processes can business leaders implement to foster Design Principles and Thinking throughout their organisation?

What to expect?
The insight events combine an interesting mix of ‘live’ case studies of senior directors from companies who have encountered a relevant challenge, together with Q&A with industry experts.
Our insight events focus on what you can learn and how it might impact you or your business. We don’t spend that much time talking at attendees and we build in plenty of opportunities for attendees to question case study subjects.
We leave ample time for attendees to network with the other senior leaders and of course enjoy a delicious breakfast.
