mindfulness at work in a bite - Inspired by leadership and mindfulness training  “Search Inside Yourself”, born at Google and based on brain science.

In the midst of complexity of our everyday lives, it often becomes a continuous struggle to find the inner capacity to create, to thrive and to lead. Yet, there are simple and powerful tools to become resilient enough to effectively use our minds to manage our emotions, reactions and ability to make decisions in challenging situations.

During this one hour talk we will answer the following questions:

Why is mindfulness the height of fashion in leadership development circles these days?

What does science have to say about it?

What does it taste like? (We will do two simple practices that you can easily bring into your day)

How can I incorporate it into my work?

About the facilitator

Ilma Stankeviciute was first taught how to meditate in her teenage years. The practice was continuously enhanced through her experience in both the leadership development and wellbeing sectors. Studying Masters of Science in Sustainability and Responsibility at Ashridge Business School is taking her to explore how the inner spaces can be created individually and in the organisations for the insight and creativity to arise. She largely draws from her yoga and meditation teacher training and an ongoing White Crane Kung Fu and Tai Chi practice.
