You’ll find your perfect space in Southwark
There’s something about the charm of old industrial buildings that bring the best out of us at work. Centuries of progress run through every brick, the cogs of commerce still hum through the walls. Workspace seeks out buildings like this, revitalising and preserving them for future generations who are looking for spaces that inspire creativity, innovation and collaboration.
Take a walk around Southwark and Borough and in the shadow of the ultra modern office blocks you’ll find Victorian warehouses, railway arches, factories … relics from an industrial age.
These are the buildings that get us excited, so much so that we have invested in them; turning them into hubs that attract energy and productivity.
The area around London Bridge, Southwark and Borough in’t just about the architecture. This is a place where business integrates with a lifestyle that’s cultured, contemporary and buzzy.

Our Southwark locations
The Leather Market
Formerly the London Leather, Hide and Wool Exchange, this grand, Grade II listed Victorian building once had its own tannery. We’ve kept the original features, updated everything with high-speed tech connections and contemporary furnishings, and added a pub, cafe, studios and some of the finest office spaces you’ll find in Bermondsey. Better still, it’s around the corner from Borough Market.
The Print Rooms
This former Victorian warehouse on the South Bank is full of original features, gorgeous contemporary interiors and acres of natural light, thanks to its immense windows. Offices and studios suit teams of all sizes and the cafe and coworking area sits at the heart of the building, providing a place to meet, relax and refresh. When you need to escape the grind, there’s also a games room.
Metal Box Factory
Tucked away in Bankside, this fully refurbished example of 19th century brutalist industrial grandeur is all metal and windows and natural light, with a huge central atrium that feeds off to spacious office units and terraces with skyline views. The ground floor cafe and coworking space brings the community together, while there’s plenty of breakout areas and booths on all floors when you need a moment to yourself.
All of our buildings are connected up with high-speed wi-fi and air conditioning runs throughout.
The transport links in this part of town are superb, with plenty of tube connections, bus routes, and London Bridge station offering national rail services.
