Tracy Sambrook is CFO at Nutmeg, the UK’s first online discretionary investment management company which is regulated by the FCA and endorsed by the UK Government.
'We offer online stocks and shares, investment accounts and pension accounts,' she explained. 'We see ourselves as disrupting the industry.'
It's exciting times at Nutmeg, Tracy says. 'We’ve just launched a pension product. We’ve also seen huge market share taken - we acquired 15% of the ISA net flows in the marketplace'.
Better still, this growth has meant that their team and needs are expanding too. 'We outgrew our old office space and took some space at Kennington Park. [But] when Vox Studios came up as a proposition we grabbed it.'
Their space at Vox Studios is open plan, with a break-out space and meeting rooms. Tracy thinks improving facilities in the office and giving employees a positive and inspiring environment in which to work is key to accomplishing business goals.
It’s so much more valuable than four walls and an office space.
Tracy Sambrook, Nutmeg
'It’s so much more valuable than four walls and an office space. The key factors that will help drive growth in Nutmeg over the next 18 months will definitely be employee engagement and commitment because, with that, we’ll deliver our goals, our targets and on our objectives.'
Nutmeg employees will be able to enjoy delicious food at the Livewire cafe and relax in the break out spaces in the foyer and outside of the former Marmite factory. They'll be joining a whole network of exciting businesses - from the media agency Spoke, to the honeycomb makers and distributors MightyFine.
