Want to change the life of a young person in just five days? Inspiresme Week has been set up by the Workspace Group, the Greater London Authority and Business in the Community (BITC) to allow businesses to reach out and help young people gain valuable business experience.
Based on its successful run last year, Inspiresme Week will scale up and place a hundred 16 – 18 year-old students in businesses based in Workspace Centres across London this year. Those businesses will be able to access all the help they may need during the placement from BITC, a Prince’s Charity. This is your chance to inspire a young person and give them the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurialism in your business.
We'll be following progress at Inspiresme Week on the Workspace blog and tweeting out about all the businesses and students involved. Just follow the hashtag #IMWeek2014.
To see whether your Workspace is eligible, find out more and sign up to this amazing and worthwhile scheme, please contact your Centre Manager or Damini Bhasin at Damini.firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you feel like the five day period isn’t feasible, there is also the option of Inspiresme Week Light (that's two days experience on Wednesday and Thursday, 30-31st July).
This is your chance to give back and help kickstart a young person's career.
