Students have been interning at businesses based in Workspace as part of an initiative organised by Workspace, the Greater London Authority and Business in the Community. We've been documenting their progress and we caught up with Dillon who's working at content marketing agency TRUE.

Students have been interning at businesses based in Workspace as part of an initiative organised by Workspace, the Greater London Authority and Business in the Community. We've been documenting their progress and we caught up with Dillon who's working at content marketing agency TRUE.

InspiresMe Week student, Dillon, joined the content marketing agency TRUE 212 this week. He’s 17 and from Nightingale Academy in Edmonton. For his A-Levels, he’s studying Media and Double IT and would like to carry on with media studies at university. His dream job would be camera man on the YouTube series about extreme driving Drifting. He tells us a little more about himself:
 
“I do a variety of sports in and out of school including football, badminton, basketball, volleyball and gym. As a car fanatic, my brother, my dad and I fix a lot of cars and like to attend car shows.”

So what’s he been doing as part of his #IMWeek2014 experience with TRUE 212? 
 
“The second day of InspiresMe Week was eventful. The TRUE team interviewed people participating in InspiresMe Week on camera. I met with the Commercial Director Dan in the morning at 8am outside London Bridge Station to go to our set location, Club Workspace. At Club Workspace, we interviewed Workspace Group’s Marketing Director. During the interview I took notes on his  answers. Another interview took place at Haime Butler. We travelled to Clerkenwell to interview the Club Workspace host and her InspiresMe Week student. I learnt about the notes that need to be taken to help the film editor when preparing the final cut.”

Dillon got a tour of Club Workspace London Bridge from Workspace Group's Marketing Director, James:

Tomorrow, he'll be checking out a film location and helping out with social media in the afternoon.
